“Bringing nature and people together” is The Gaia Trust’s mission statement, and our core objectives are founded on the importance of involving people with the natural world.
Grants, fundraising and donations
Government Farm support payments form the majority of the Gaia Trust's annual income, but we also depend on grants and donations from organisations such as the Heritage Lottery, Natural England and the Environment Agency, small private trusts and generous individuals. We would like to thank those private individuals, local groups and grant giving bodies whose financial generosity has helped us secure the environmentally sensitive properties that we own but to develop them and enhance them to deliver our mission of "Farming for people and wildlife".
Because we are committed to achieve our aims in partnership and through sustainable agriculture, we are able to remain small with minimal overheads. Money we raise to support our work can therefore be put to productive conservation use, and we are happy to talk to you about particular work that you may wish to support on your local site.
If you would like to find out more about how you can help The Gaia Trust through personal donation, legacies, corporate support or other fundraising activity, please use the contact details below. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can also download a Gift Aid Form which can increase the value of a donation by up to 28% at no extra cost to yourself.
