Interaction with the natural world is of enormous benefit to our well-being, and public engagement is essential for the long-term sustainable management of land, its biodiversity and the survival of our wildlife.
Public involvement is central to The Gaia Trust, whether through encouraging appropriate access with permissive paths, school visits and guided walks or organising volunteer days to carry out tasks like hedge planting, scrub clearing or species recording.
We are not a membership organisation, but your help in spreading knowledge and support for what we do in your local community, through volunteering or through fundraising activities can be invaluable.
They say that any organisation is only as strong as its people. and the Gaia Trust is no exception. We are keen to welcome local volunteers and involvement from community groups, so please get in touch.
